My Students

Walt Disney said “Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And dreams are forever.”

My students are 2nd graders living in an urban environment.

The school and their parents provide any supplies that they can. Students often have the backpacks, pencils, folders, and notebooks that they need. Sometimes it's not enough. These imaginative and creative children love learning, and they enjoy showing what they've learned in many ways.

My Project

Students today are often tested. They have unit tests and quarterly tests, district test, state tests. It's all pencil and paper. They also like technology. Computer games are fun ways to learn. But more than anything they love to create. With access to colorful paper and glue and paint, my students will be able to use their imagination to show what they've learned.

Donations to this project will give my students access to materials that they may not have had.

My students will be able to construct and create their own projects, which is an excellent way for students to share their knowledge.
