My Project

Having access to the pet veterinarian station and materials will help our students create and keep their innate love of learning and connect to the sciences. Engaging my preschool students in quality physical science experiences and exposure to animal science at an early age will provide them with more career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) later on in life. My students will use these materials to learn about the physical world as well as connect it to other content areas. They will use cognitive, speech and language, and fine motor skills to accomplish these tasks. This is all done as they interact with their friends and enjoy work time. These materials can constantly be integrated into various lessons and connect their uses to other lessons and content areas.

These new activities will help students cooperate and develop critical thinking skills that will help them for the rest of their lives.

My students may only be 3, 4, and 5 but I always look for new opportunities and ways to raise the academic bar for them. Now is the time to get them excited about school and STEM. The more they love it, the better they will perform as they continue their education.
