Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a magnet secondary high school that focuses on marine and environmental science. Students interested in attending must go through an application process. Once accepted, they are part of a diverse, gifted, and motivating learning environment. Our students work super hard and they love to explore, discover and learn.

Students at our school are eager to learn and get involved in their community.

They jump into a rigorous schedule that includes AP classes and Dual Enrollment classes, to get a better understanding of our world in hope of contributing to their society.

My Project

This year, my students have started a new year in a new facility. Students are really excited to be back! The classroom has a great view and a new promethean.

The Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter and keyboard will be used to connect to the promethean for smooth learning.

With a wireless adapter and case for the Surface, I can safely teach from anywhere in the classroom. This would help my students because I would be able to walk around and answer questions as I am lecturing. The keyboard will allow me to use the promethean built-in computer and the stickers would be used as feedback. My students will love these!
