My Project

These requested keyboards will serve students in seven different classes that are housed in our STEM Lab. Mechanical keyboards provide a few benefits over standard membrane keyboards. They are much more durable than standard membrane keyboards, as they are made of higher quality materials, which allow for them to withstand millions of more keystrokes than standard keyboards can. Additionally, mechanical keyboards provide more tactile feedback, meaning that students are able to physically notice every keystroke input that is placed. This is especially beneficial during our units where students focus on correct hand positioning for typing.

These keyboards will not only benefit students in the classes that are based in the STEM Lab, but will also benefit our E-Sports team as well.

As we look to expand our E-Sports team, we are opening possibilities for keyboard and mouse players, as well as console players. The high feedback and longevity of these keyboards make them viable for gaming keyboards as well.
