Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The goals for this project are to get my students to be more connected to their cultural backgrounds through their creativity. The students will have multiple books to read where they will be able to see characters who look like them. They will be able to color and draw characters who look like them as well with the More Than Peach crayons and color pencils.

These students all have deficits in multiple areas and activities to help connect them can also help them socially by learning about other races and cultures.
