Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students I work with travel back and forth from my classroom and their general education classes thorughout the day. Some time they need time to calm down so the sensory items will help them follow the calming process. As well as the adaptive seating that will allow them to get out their energy and help them focus. The organization materials will allow my students to have a place of their own for their materials. After COVID my students are craving a place to call their own and these materials will allow them to have access to a variety of tools they can use.

With these adaptive seating options and books are their ability level my students will thrive and focus more on their learning.

They will be able to place their materials in their own space, read books at their level, and use communication/sensory tools to express themselves. My students have shown that their are willing and wanting to learn but need these tools to help.
