This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I truly cherish the opportunity to work with my students, each of whom has their own unique way of learning and expressing themselves. As a teacher, my goal is to ensure that every student feels seen, heard, and understood. This iPad and installing an AAC app on it such as "touch chat" will allow me to better connect with my non-verbal students, providing them with a much-needed tool to communicate more effectively. By incorporating technology into our classroom, I’ll be able to support their individual needs, help them express their thoughts and feelings, and create a more inclusive environment where every student can fully participate and thrive.
