My Students

My students will be 4th ENL students. I have not met them yet, as the school year hasn’t started, but I am sure that I will love them. Since my students are ENL students, they could come into 4th grade not knowing a word of English or may not know other students. For some of my students, this could be their first time within a classroom or a school. I know that they will work very hard and be the best students that they could possibly be.

My Project

In the spring, we all found out that learning virtually is not an optimal experience for either the students or the teacher. This fall, we have no choice, but to get it right. Teachers must think outside the box in order to both engage and teach their students. Unfortunately, resources in most schools are limited and teachers must use what is available to them, despite the fact that there are so many fantastic resources out there. Since I will be interacting with my students through a computer screen, an Apple Pencil will allow me to work math problems, write ideas, and show examples. An additional monitor will allow me to see my students and keep them involved, while sharing information on my screen.

By donating to this project you will help my students optimize the learning that must be done virtually.

You will be helping them to stay engaged and connected, even on the days when they cannot be in school. I am truly committed to insuring that my students have a great year despite the limitations caused by the Pandemic. Your assistance in making this a reality is greatly appreciated.
