My Project

Collaboration is a vital part of early learning, and my first-grade students thrive when they can work together to share ideas, solve problems, and build social skills. Our classroom is in need of a new Lakeshore collaborative table to create an inviting space where students can engage in meaningful group activities, small-group instruction, and hands-on learning. Currently, our students work at smaller, older tables, which limits their ability to collaborate efficiently.

A designated collaborative table would provide a structured yet flexible space where students can work on group projects, engage in peer discussions, and receive targeted support in a small-group setting.

This will not only enhance their learning experience but also promote teamwork, communication, and critical thinking—skills essential for their academic and social development.

By funding this Lakeshore table, you will be directly impacting my students’ daily learning experiences, providing them with a comfortable and functional workspace that fosters creativity and cooperation.
