My Students

My kindergarten ICT classroom is comprised of wonderful students who come from a multitude of backgrounds and specific needs. My students are inquisitive and enjoy making connections and building relationships with one another through learning and play.

We are a Title I school located in a low-income neighborhood.

Our students and their families, like many others, have been heavily affected during this time of remote and blended learning.

Nonetheless, my students and their families have been working diligently and persistently at home to keep up with their learning. My students and their families have connected with one another in a very unique way.

My Project

The use of a writer's notebook is almost a daily activity in my classroom. The notebooks I have selected will help my Kindergarten students practice drawing and write descriptive sentences to share with their families and friends.

These notebooks will help keep my students' work organized throughout the writing process.

I am looking forward to seeing my students fill up these pages so that they can have something to be proud of at the end of the year. Not only will they be able to show off their published work, but they see the progress they have made since the beginning of the school year.
