My Students

My kindergarten students are a melting pot. Each student has his/her own physical and educational needs. My class includes ESL students, special needs students, and general education students.

My kindergarteners learn in many different ways.

They are all special with so much to give to the learning environment. My class is excited about learning and they love coming to school every day.

The children have a desire to learn and can keep that desire with the right inspiring materials around them.

My Project

This Half Moon Activity table will be the meeting place to put our heads together and figure out a problem, discuss what's happening or learn in a smaller group.

Children need a special place to meet as an independent group or with their teacher, this could be the place.

Much goes on in a kindergarten classroom, not all of it at their desks. Children need a space to look into each other's faces and have a discussion. This table is that place!

This table will be added to other flexible seating arrangements to encourage engagement in learning. The children can choose this spot to work rather than their desks.
