Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As almost everyone knows and understands, math simply cannot be learned without visuals and hands-on activity for most, if not all. Research has shown time and time again that students need hands on opportunities to manipulate numbers and new concepts.

You will be funding students exploring with Base Ten Rods to that they can have a strong foundation for number sense and place value.

Quality math instruction relies on resources like these to support learning and true understanding. The following resources are useful to understand the value of every number; thus, these Base Ten Magnetic Accents or Rods will help my students have a better sense of place value. These manipulatives will help my students during small group instruction so that my students can visually manipulate these tools or base ten rods by themselves. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
