Help Ms. Meyer

I am a kindergarten teacher at a Title I school. Title I means that over 50% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. A large percentage of my students have never even been to school before. Many of my students have limited to no access to computers.

My students love going to the computer lab every week but that is only one hour a week. I would like to have more computer programs for my classroom computers so my students will be able to get up to five more hours a week on the computer.

The resources that I would need would be two computer software programs. The Preschool and Kindergarten Jumpstart software programs will help all the students in my class reinforce basic skills. I would like to have two copies of each so that I can use all four computers.

This project will allow my students to have a variety of experiences when using different kinds of software on their classroom computers.
