This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I want my students to be prepared for the 21st century and to do that I feel they need to be able to work with computers in the classroom.

The students at my school come from diverse backgrounds.

Most of the students are bussed in from various parts of the community. The students are excited to show up to school. They attend a school that is rich in both visual and performing arts but lacks substantial technology.

My Project

I am requesting 2 Dell computers to be able to access information online and become proficient with the technology of the 21st century. The computers I am asking for will allow my students to conduct their own searches for information by accessing the Internet and use a word processor and create presentations. I plan on teaching my students how to conduct such internet searches for information, use a word processor and create presentations.

This project will improve my classroom by allowing my students to become independent learners that can evaluate, analyze and synthesize information.

My students will be able to learn how to use the technology of the 21st century.
