My Project

I have requested an Apple MacBook Air computer in order to help support my students in all areas of the curriculum. All of my students would benefit from this laptop, but in particular, I have 7 ENL students who would greatly benefit from language learning tools and access to content in their home language.

The students will use this computer while working in groups to help them in all subject areas.

For example, in math, I will have a variety of problem solving websites, as well as addition, subtraction, and place value websites that will help push my students' thinking throughout our current unit of study. In reading, I will download interactive books that may be read aloud to the students. In writing, I will allow students to study mentor texts online that will help them within their own writing. The websites I choose will be used to supplement the content in which I am teaching, and will help my students stay motivated in all areas of the curriculum.
