My Project

My curious and bright 5th grade students absorb knowledge like a sponge! My diverse community includes English as a new language learners and students with special needs. In a technology filled society, I want to equip my scholars with the critical thinking and skills to be successful. I am creating my own computer science curriculum to bring to my 5th grade team with the robotics and computer science devices that were purchased by my school for me to spearhead this! The only thing holding us back is that we do not have a device that we can download the apps on to control the robots and projects with. The NY DOE computers are not compatible and the iPads do not allow us to download the app needed. Therefore, the only resort is to purchase an iPad for the school community to share!
