Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

These kiddos rule! At 45 years old, I embarked on my new career as a teacher. My students have made me the teacher I am. Their kindness, commitment and eagerness to learn made my first year the best year. So far!

I have instilled in my kiddos the importance of reading and now they LOVE to read.

They are mainly from lower income families. Their busy, hard-working parents can find it difficult to make it to the local library on weekends. And weeknights sometimes don't allow for independent reading time due to these busy schedules.

My Project

I could really use a computer monitor for Distance Learning so my students have the best experience in a tough situation.

Teaching remotely with a small laptop screen and hunching over the keyboard makes this 3rd grade teacher's neck and shoulders tense and exhausted.

I would love a BIG computer monitor so I can see my students and share my screen so they can learn and enjoy Zoom class.

Thank you in advance for your kindness and appreciation of educators and education. These kids will rule the world one day!
