My Project

My high school engineering students are new to Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and these computer mice will allow them to use design programs easily with their school-issued devices. Computer mice will enable students to use CAD programs much more accessible than using the touchpad alone. This simple technology will significantly enhance their experience of learning design concepts to create 2D and 3D CAD drawings while working in class and at home. Students will use Onshape to learn the basics of technical drawing while learning the engineering design process. One can quickly orbit (pan/rotate), zoom, and navigate the entire CAD design program using the mouse.
