My Students

Our school's computer lab is used for Computer Science classes, math classes and science classes. In addition to the regular classes, the lab is available for students in the morning and after school for students to do research, write papers, etc.

Our students come from all over Brooklyn and represent an amazing array of nationalities, ethnicities, neighborhoods and backgrounds.

We pride ourselves on being a school that values diversity and a staff that is guided by the underlying belief that students will succeed if they are able to succeed. It's what they want to do. If they are struggling, we strive to learn what skill they need or what problem needs to be resolved in order for them to succeed.

My Project

Students will use the Lexmark MS510dn Mono Laser printer to print their work and classroom materials. Many students do not have access to a printer at home, so it is valuable for us to be able to offer access to a printer at school.

For us it is really about access and equality.

Some of our students have their own printer at home while others have no computer equipment at all. In order to level the playing field, it is important for us to provide access to computers and a printer to our students.
