My Students

Help! Our classroom is in great need of headphones so we can utilize our computers during literacy and math stations. This time is important because it allows students to learn at their abiltity level. Computer stations are a great motivator and are designed for students at their individual level.

Our school is located in South Carolina.

I teach a wonderful group of 3rd graders who have a great love of learning and take pride in their education. My students are highly motivated to learn through the use of technology. Our district has purchased a computer program that is individually leveled for students based on their testing data and is a great resource to use in the classroom.

My Project

The computer resources we are requesting will allow us to use the computers in our classroom to their fullest potential. Students can independendtly and/or in small groups view instructional clips to extend their learning, utilize leveld programs during small group instruction, and create projects on the computer the incorporate sound. My students need 6 computer headphones for learning stations and computer speakers for whole group and small group instruction that includes the use of technology.

This project is important because it will provide students the opportunity to use the classroom computers independently during learning stations.

It will also provide opportunties for students to work in small groups incorporating technology into their learning.
