Computer for Assessment

Help me give my students in obtaining a working computer for my students. my special education students require it to complete various activities, specially for their technology assessment. Having reliable computer would greatly support their learning and progress.

My Project

The donation of computers will be an incredible benefit to my special education students, as they require reliable technology to help assess and support their learning needs. Many of my students prefer using computers over iPads because the wider screen of a computer makes it easier for them to interact with and engage in lessons. Some students find the larger screen more comfortable to use for their specific needs, especially when working on visual tasks or navigating educational software that requires more detailed attention.

These computers are essential tools for my classroom, particularly for my non-verbal students.

Technology serves as a bridge for them, allowing them to communicate more effectively and participate fully in activities that would otherwise be challenging. For students with communication difficulties, having access to robust technology like computers is not just a convenience—it's a vital aspect of their educational experience that enables them to express their ideas, complete assignments, and make progress in ways that match their unique learning styles.

What I truly admire about my students is their unwavering willingness to learn, despite the various challenges they face. Some may experience moments of aggression or frustration, but even in those moments, they demonstrate awareness and determination to succeed. They understand their emotions, and with the right tools—like these computers—they can better channel their energy into productive learning experiences.
