My Students

My student population reflects the majority of students in the boroughs of New York City. We are comprised of students with special needs and accommodations and qualify 100% for free and reduced lunches. This is to say that my students face adversity inside and outside of the classroom and they need practical, relevant learning opportunities that provide opportunities for them to make connections between their academic preparation and the real world. Thank you for considering to be a positive influence on their road to independence, well-being, and success!

My Project

This year has been challenging in a variety of ways, but one of the immediate challenges that we are currently facing is the ability to provide adequate technical support and assistance to our students, their parents, and our colleagues.

My role this year has transitioned from a classroom teaching position to a hybrid instructional/IT support role, and there are skill sets that I can actively develop to increase my efficacy.

The manuals that I have requested will provide the support that I need to better assist and to turn-key important connectivity, troubleshooting, security, and organizational concepts and protocols to my school community.
