Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager to make a positive impact in our community by supporting our local animal foundation. Through this project, they will learn the value of empathy, responsibility, and community service by assembling care packages for animals in need. We seek support to acquire essential items such as brown bags, rice, peanut butter, socks, and dog leashes. These supplies will enable students to create thoughtful packages that nourish and comfort the animals awaiting adoption. The brown bags will serve as environmentally friendly carriers for the care packages. At the same time, rice and peanut butter will be used to make homemade treats that are nutritious and delicious for dogs. The socks can be creatively transformed into engaging toys, and the dog leashes offer much-needed supplies for the foundation. By participating in this project, students will enhance their creativity and problem-solving skills and develop a sense of compassion and civic responsibility. Your generous support will empower our students to become active, caring members of their community and bring joy to the animals and those who care for them.
