Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These supplies will be available to our community in order to promote wellness and mental health well-being by taking care of one's hygienic needs. By having these toiletries available to those in our community we will be aiding in allowing them to feel good about themselves. This is one of the easiest ways to do so and having them readily available for pick up in pre-packaged storage bags will make it that much easier! Our students already work with our community in many other ways, and this is another great way for them to keep ties within their own community!! Our students want to incorporate more community service projects, and this would be an incredible way to do so.

Our students want to make it easier for the product to be accessible to their surrounding community by giving them out in places such as the public library or the community center.

The materials we are asking for will provide our students with the opportunity to encourage wellness within their own community.
