Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach special needs students from a low income area where they report to school unprepared for the day due to their parents not being able to afford the school supplies.

My goal is to create a community school supply center where students will be able to obtain school supplies for the day.

By setting up a community school supply center, students will be able to report first thing in the morning to pick up items they need.

Special needs students do not like to be signaled out in class and by reporting unprepared, they might get signaled out by their teacher for reporting to class prepared with their supplies.
