My Project

Our My Sister's Keeper group has decided to work on building a relationship with older adults in our community. West Brighton Senior Center is across the street from our school. Many seniors spend their day there engaged in many activities.

This project includes snacks for our Sip and Paint.

We have paint, brushes, and canvases. We need snacks to make our day complete. This project includes a beverage dispenser to hold punch, cups, drinks, cookies, and palettes.

The benefits of partnering with seniors and youth include improved communication, increased self-esteem, reduced isolation, and enhanced understanding for all.

Connecting seniors and youth can help promote intergenerational friendships; therefore, strengthening the community. Activities like art and music collaborations can encourage creativity and expression.
