My Project

I am hoping to build an SEL program for my students that brings in Read Alouds so students can better understand and discuss social emotional lessons. I plan to read a book from this collection weekly and keep them in the social emotional section of our classroom library where students can then access them during free read or rest time. Having these books live in our space will help students come back to the social emotional skills taught and discussed within the books.

These books will help students grow in self awareness and into active and inclusive community members.

Theses books will support students in feeling empowered and loved in their classroom community.
