Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

At my school we have an advisory program which pairs 15 students with 1 teacher. We are with each other every three days as a class, for our entire 4 years of high school.

Within advisory we are building a strong sense of community.

We do this through team building activities, group discussions, community activities, field trips, and other class activities. Advisory is our safe space to develop our students academically, emotionally, and personally.

My Project

Building a strong relationship with each other is most important, after all, we spend four years together. We will use SPOT IT to develop stronger relationships with each other. As an advisory, we study for upcoming tests together, which is when we will use the animal buzzers. They will surely liven up our study groups.

Your donation will help shake our classroom up.

It is spring time and my students have been working hard all year. With your donation we will continue studying hard and building strong relationships with each other. Thank you ahead of time for helping me build a strong community within my classroom!
