My Project

My name is Rebecca and I am starting over at a new school working with a new population of students. This year I will be in a classroom for students with multiple disabilities and autism. My students all struggle with safety skills and understanding how to navigate the world around them. The community signs and safety game will allow me to work with my students, and the students in the other classrooms, to learn what different signs mean. Students will gain independence as they transition to life after high school as they will now have the knowledge and experience in reading and understanding different community signs.
