My Project

I am a social skills teacher for special needs students from grades pre-k through fifth grade. My students need more access to books and materials having to do with social skills and social emotional learning.

Through the use of these materials, students will have a more visual and hands on experience in learning to communicate with their peers, take turns, and recognize and deal with their emotions.

These materials will be used for both whole group and small group instruction, providing students with tactile materials and visuals to help create and strengthen communication and connections with their peers.
