My Students

Our third grade classroom is a place of wonder and investigation. Students are exposed daily to new curriculum and skills. We explore various learning strategies that build us as strong readers, writers, scientists, and mathematicians.

During our school day, Students experience learning in multiple ways.

Through whole and small group instruction, each learner's educational needs are met. These are key moments for reteaching and enrichment.

SS School serves students K-8 and strives to provide students with a safe, nurturing, and quality learning environment.

My Project

In education, a larger and larger emphasis is being placed on STEAM exploration. Students are being asked to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and math in new depths. These components are discussed and utilized daily in our third grade classroom. Students investigate each by utilizing various classroom tools.

Horseshoe tables allow teachers to work collaboratively with students to solve problems and complete tasks that utilize STEAM educational targets.

Perhaps not simultaneously, but regularly, our class performs science experiments, incorporates Chromebook technology, builds simple or 3D structures, creates various crafts, and solves mathematical equations. This classroom addition would enhance small group learning and learners working together as a community.
