Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We spent a lot of the beginning of the year working on getting supplies settled. I was getting whiteboards, markers, headphones, supplies for small groups, etc. Now I feel like we have the supplies we need and we are in a much better place to move forward and get the physical space organized and set up in the way that we want. I want this room to be inviting for my students. I want it to be relaxing and warm for my students who come to school looking for comfort and support.

The items in my cart, including recliner stadium seats, will help to better personalize and organize the classroom while also bringing it to life for my students!

File folders will help to organize student work samples, extra papers, and other necessities. Now, they are sitting in folders and organized the best they can with the resources I have. Diary of a Wimpy Kid books will help to bring my classroom library together and provide my students with more materials they would like to read or explore. Our library was recently updated with bins for our books that helped with organization, so new books to help fill up the bins.
