My Project

A kitchen table in the dramatic play area will help the children to share a meal that they have created and come together at the table as a classroom family! Engaging in dramatic play enhances young children's development. Pretending builds social skills, makes children more aware of their own emotions, and encourages shared language and problem solving. Dramatic play engages virtually every part of a child's developing brain, helping hone a variety of crucial skills including creativity. Dramatic play brings out a child's imagination. Using props and tools, they create the setting for their play and cast themselves into a role different from their everyday self.
