Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A class that reads together sticks together. First year teacher in need of furniture that will make it a true learning community. A kidney reading table with chairs will allow my students to have a meeting place for guided reading as well as for group work. Currently, we meet at a small wobbly table. We would love to have enough chairs that could make a permanent home at the special new table. We read and work together in groups several times each day. They are a talkative bunch who love to read. This special meeting spot will only help them grow as learners and become even more excited to work together.
