My 2nd grade students attend school in a diverse district in southwest Michigan. Our large urban district has students from all cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. My 2nd graders are eager and enthusiastic learners!
We know that literacy is key to success, but what happens when students don't master those skills?
Help me help my students master essential foundational literacy skills with these fun and exciting comic books! These books, written in comic format, will leave my young readers excited to practice critical skills in a format that is both fun and full of important practice in decoding words with similar phonics format.
Your support on this project means I will have multiple copies of these books to use in small groups, with classroom volunteers, and for students to read on their own. Thank you for helping support literacy in my classroom!
