Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These cushions will make a difference in my student's learning because they will provide the opportunity for my students to have a comfortable experience during reading time.

Creating a cozy, comfortable, and quiet space in my classroom for my students to read will give them the perfect environment to fall in love with the world of stories.

The cushions will be an addition to our two cushions we have for reading time. My students have really enjoyed having the two cushions, but unfortunately it doesn’t allow all my students to have an opportunity at least once a week to enjoy reading on our rug. I want to create an even more comfortable space for more students to enjoy reading their books. The storage bin is for the cushions to be stored as our rug is used for multiple activities. Please help me make my classroom a cozy and comfortable space that is provided by the cushions.
