Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

While using flexible seating students feel empowered by having some choice and control over where they sit and how they learn. Flexible seating allows students to choose where they work. These seats are movable and allow students to change their location and positions as needed. It also encourages students to take turns sitting in different locations and with different seating options. Learning environments can have a direct impact on student achievement. With flexible seats students can be comfortable reading independently or with a partner and focus on their work. Flexible seating helps make learning fun! Flexible seating encourages students to find their best spot to stay calm, focused and productive. This type of seating enables children with sensory issues and special needs to focus on the task.
