My Project

At our school, we believe in nurturing an environment where every child thrives. My class consists of students with autism, some are limited verbal and some are just learning how to form words. As an educator, I strive to provide an environment where learning becomes an exciting journey, and the tools we use play a vital role in shaping this experience.

Circle time is the heartbeat of our classroom.

It's where bonds are strengthened, ideas are shared, and learning blossoms. This rug will not only define our gathering space but also serve as a visual aid, helping students understand their place in the group and encouraging participation. The sitting rubber spot markers will ensure that every child has their designated space, fostering a sense of ownership and belonging during our sessions. These markers will also aid in maintaining social distancing, creating a safe environment in accordance with current health guidelines.

A speaker system will amplify our circle time experiences. It will facilitate clear communication, making sure that every student can hear stories, music, and instructions effectively. This technology will be a game-changer, especially for students who struggle with auditory processing, ensuring they don't miss out on valuable information and discussions.
