This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are Pre-K students and lovers of crafting among many other things. At this age, they love to play, build and explore. They are like sponges and absorb everything they possibly can. We craft and play every single day in our classroom in Bronx, NY. They cannot wait to come in every day, ready to start crafting using paper, glue or crayons. They cannot wait to build with blocks, LEGO bricks and Magna-Tiles. They cannot wait to play and discover with friends and teachers. Sitting around a comfy carpet and being so happy together. These basic needs we are asking for are small things but make a huge difference in our days of learning.
