This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
These books will provide a print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students enjoy they sit on bean bags, those who struggle to read look at the pictures, and some try to say words independently! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. All these books have been chosen with my students in mind and I read the stories to them using interactive materials. My students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy reading time.
With these new books, my students will be able to learn through pictures from a variety of books that will allow them to begin to learn words and allow their imaginations to begin.
They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to get my students excited about learning is to expose them to books, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. This project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
