My Project

Who remembers learning how to tell time with the big yellow clock? Or using paper money to understand how to properly purchase items while also adding and subtracting money?

These life skills tend to get overlooked in everyday curriculum and I want to give my students the chance to learn something they will need for the rest of their lives.

In addition, I want to provide a safe, comfortable class for them while they learn! Sitting in our seats for a long time while working can be frustrating, and I want to do what I can to ease that frustration my students experience. I can’t wait to incorporate learning how to tell time and understand money into our daily morning meetings and center/ small group work! In addition, I know my students (who struggle to sit for long periods of time) will benefit from the bouncy bands! These bands will provide them the constant feedback their bodies need while adapting to sitting for longer periods of time, when learning the curriculum.
