My Students

My first graders are enthusiastic for school to start up again. These students are authors, engineers, scientists and avid readers. They have such big hearts and want to do so many big things.

They come from diverse backgrounds and have already brought so much to our classroom.

Despite what a challenging time this is for everyone, they continue and will continue to face this adversity with their best effort.

My Project

Unfortunately, the current table we have is not an appropriate size for the students. They have outgrown the space and we are looking to make this space a comfortable meeting place. The current table is doesn't fit six students comfortably and that is the size of our largest small group. The students are always trying to pull out chairs from underneath the table because the chairs get stuck underneath.

A table where all students can fit comfortably will improve their engagement.

Small group is an important part of our day.
