Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are my inspiration for doing my best. They strive to succeed each day, no matter if they are tired or having a not so good day. They come each day following the Warrior Way, our words for our school: We are responsible. We are respectful. We are ready to learn!

Our school is in an area that needs our support.

Parents are only able to help so much. We need more support from you! Children are our future!

My Project

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. I have noticed that my students perform better when allowed to sit where they choose during learning centers and these floor cushions will help with that. In addition, the use of headphones helps them to focus more without being disruptive. (It helps those auditory learners a lot!) Finally, the use of containers will help keep center materials where they need to be and make our classroom more organized.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Our children are our future! We need to push them to be successful!
