Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Fidgets will help students cope with anxiety. I have personally given them some options, but these added tools are more discrete and less disruptive during learning times. Comfortable stools and floor cushions will give them opportunities to sit differently than they do in other classrooms. Using a journal to track the work they do on their Chromebooks will assist them with learning classroom content. Their memories are struggling to recall information that is new, so being able to focus and learn is a huge accomplishment. All of these are areas that COVID made challenging for my students every day.
