Comfortable Seating for Middle School Reading Students!

My Students

My students are your typical middle school kids....they are crazy, awesome, and full of energy! They are willing to learn, but like to do so in a comfortable environment. Teenage bodies are changing daily, and sometimes they need a little wiggle room to make the class more enjoyable.

What student likes to be confined to an uncomfortable desk all the time?

My students learn best when they are in a comfortable seating position. When they are relaxed, they are much more willing to learn and soak in the content that is being taught.

My Project

As a middle school teacher, it is sometimes hard to provide a comfortable environment in a crowded classroom. It is also sometimes difficult to get students interested in reading. I would love to provide comfortable seating options for my students on library days.

Comfortable seating options would go a long way in getting my students more interested in reading.

I believe that providing seating options would be a positive addition to my classroom. Middle school students are at that awkward stage where they get tired of sitting in the same plastic and wooden desks. When a student is relaxed and comfortable, they look forward to a subject or class a lot more.
