Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students come to school and are excited about learning new things everyday. My goal is to help my students achieve their goals and provide them a safe environment where they will be able to focus on learning. My classroom is composed of students with different backgrounds, special needs and learning styles.

While students come enthusiastic each day it is my duty to be able to provide them various ways in exploring new ideas.

With proper guidance my goal is for the students to become independent and to be able to find answers for themselves.

My Project

Comfortable seating will help my students to stay focused on the task at hand. The cushions are for flexible seating during carpet time, or to take to a chair. While the cushions are for comfort, the bands will help students that like to fidget their feet stay focused.

The timer will light up and help students identify when it is time to transition, green means go, yellow means clean up, red means time to switch to the next task!

This visual timer will be the perfect way for my students to see and hear when it is time to clean up and go.
