Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My students are all from an urban public school system in Massachusetts. They attend a large neighborhood school that is constantly expanding. The school community is where all students will succeed no matter what their background is.
My students like to learn in a variety of ways; some learn better in whole group lessons, while some learn better during small group lessons.
My students are continuing to read to learn about the many amazing things that exist in our world. The potential in these students is great with sufficient resources.
My Project
Using the requested items, my students will all be able to have a spot on the classroom rug in front of myself during whole group lessons in reading and writing. They will all be able to have their own space so no student will be in top of them. It will also be clear to them exactly where their spot is in the rug since it has rows of different colors. All students will be facing the instructor and engaged in learning. They also will be able to use this space for independent reading.
