Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my fifth grade classroom, I want to create a learning environment where all students can stay engaged, comfortable, and ready to do their best work. The flexible seating options I’m requesting will allow my students to choose a seat that helps them focus, stay motivated, and collaborate effectively with their peers. These materials will support different learning styles by giving students the freedom to move while they work, improving both concentration and engagement.

My goal for this project is to provide my students with a classroom that meets their diverse needs, fosters independence, and encourages responsibility.

By allowing them to select the seating that works best for them, they will develop self-awareness, take ownership of their learning, and build essential life skills such as collaboration and adaptability.

My students are an incredible group of thinkers, problem-solvers, and leaders. They are eager to learn, full of curiosity, and always willing to support each other. With 27 students in my classroom, flexible seating will ensure that each of them has a space where they feel comfortable, valued, and ready to succeed.
