My Students

My goal by the end of kindergarten is for my students to be at or above grade level. I also want them to have the option to access Internet-based intervention programs in any space of our classroom, whether it is in a chair or laying on the carpet.

My kindergarten students are fun, energetic, and enthusiastic.

They love learning new things, being creative, and have a drive for excellence. Their faces light up when they've mastered a skill or earned a certificate of achievement in the intervention programs we use. Our school is a typical inner city school that lacks the funding that all children deserve.

My Project

Having an iPad readily available, will give my students the opportunity to work on various intervention programs such as Lexia, Imagine Learning, or Soar to Success wherever they are most comfortable. They would be able to work sitting or laying on our carpet or propped up on a pillow in our classroom library.

By donating to this project you will help my kindergarten students excel in reading and math.

They will be able to work independently where children are most comfortable and be able to move freely throughout the classroom as opposed to sitting in a chair at a desk.
