My Project

Students often have many feelings. There are many moments throughout the school day that lend themselves to emotions that range from excitement to frustration.

A cool down center filled with different sensory items will help my students get through tough parts of the day.

Even as adults, we sometimes need a moment to cool down, stop, and breathe. I believe my students do too.

A basket filled with items they can touch, smell, squeeze, and help them mindfully calm their emotions, will help them learn and interact with their peers for the rest of the day.
